Grapevine Restaurants

Grapevine has more than 150 restaurants within the city, offering every kind of food your heart desires. Here are some favorites:

Big Daddy's Ship Store This is a regular breakfast stop for one of the National Champs! Great for burgers, breakfast, sandwiches and steaks. It is at the end of the pier and you can eat outside. They also have soft drinks and ice for your races. Good place to hang out before and after the races and tell your buddies who did what to whom on the course. Word is it's bugged, so no complaining about the organizing committee here! Located at Scott's Landing Marina on Grapevine Lake
2500 Oak Grove Park - 817.481.1237

Cafe Italia is a favorite of Grapevine sailors. Bring your own wine or beer (since they do not serve) and you can have a nice dinner for $14 or so. But be warned, we serve this on Friday at the award dinner. Cafe Italia has two locations.
Near the lake: 505 W. Northwest Hwy - 817.251.0100
On Highway 26: 2631 Ira E Woods Ave - 817.251.0999

Baja Mexican Grill. You will find GSC members here on Friday evenings, enjoying strong margaritas and modestly priced Mexican food. Just so you know, Baja will cater the Monday or Wednesday night dinner at the club.
1212 William D. Tate (across from the Post Office near HW 114) - 817.481.3422

Esparza's Restaurante Mexicano is another favorite of Grapevine sailors. It has a large, active and loud bar area and modest prices.
124 E. Worth St (just east of Main St) - 817.481.4668.

Ravioli I haven't been here in a while but it is an old time Italian restaurant. I do not remember if it is BYOB or not.
120 E. Worth Street - 817.488.1181

Willhoite's Restaurant If you own a motorcycle and a Catalina, then this is the bar for you. Located in a historic 1914 building that was once Grapevine's first automotive gas station, this eclectic bar features a garage-like atmosphere and serves a Texas sized buffet, a never ending salad bar, and a variety of drinks at the fully stocked bar. Look for where the motorcycles are parked on Main Street!
432 South Main Street - 817.481.7511

For seafood try:
Big Fish Seafood Grill & Bar at 414 S. Main Street - 817.481.2010 or South Prairie Oyster Bar at 651 S. Main Street - 817.488.3909

Tolbert's Restaurant Serves Texas and Southwestern cuisine.
423 South Main Street - 817.421.4888

Bonedaddy's Judging by the cars in the parking lot, this is a very popular up scale barbecue and steak place but pricier then your regular BBQ.
1720 William D Tate Ave - 817.251.0835 (intersection of William D Tate and Mustang, west of Hwy 114)

Mimi's Café Serves home style meals and all come with a muffin. Save it for a snack in between races.
1449 Hwy. 114 W. - 817.410.7270
(in the Target shopping center)

Schlotzsky's If you are not familiar with his deli I recommend you try their sandwiches.
1801 S Main Street - 817.424.5201
(just across Hwy 114 near the Holiday Inn Express and Super 8)

Carrabba's Italian Grill is another nice Italian (but chain) restaurant. They do serve liquor. 1701 Crossroads - 817.410.8461

Southlake Restaurants

Southlake Tavern Nice bar and my favorite hangout. Appetizers are half price during happy hours; wine and beer is $3 and margaritas $2. Try the Blue Moon microbrew. The Tuna Nachos and crab cakes are to die for, they are about $4.50 during happy hour and make a meal in itself. The good news is that happy hour is from 2-7 PM and 9-11 PM and 12-7 on Saturday.
2700 E Southlake Blvd, Southlake - 817.748.0388

Armend's Restaurante Another Italian and pizza restaurant where you can eat inexpensively because you have to bring your wine wine or beer.
2315 E Southlake Blvd Ste 101, Southlake (across the street from Lowes) - 817.251.0270.

Red Hot & Blueis a good Barbecue restaurant.
2750 E Southlake Blvd Ste 100 - 817.749.2271

Mi Cocina has resonably priced Mexican food.
1276 Main St - 817.410.6426

X-O Sport & Tavern is a nice bar and restaurant.
