National Junior Championship RegattaThe Jr Regatta is open to junior sailors 19 years of age or younger. Boat owners will be on the boat and shall act as coach and advisor. Early registration closes June 1, 2011, late registration is open until the morning of June 19th. Skipper's meeting will be at 9:30am and the first signal will be 10:30am, Sunday, June 19. If your boat hull number falls between #13143 and #15347 or any other yacht displacing greater than 2600 pounds you are eligible to participate in this event. If a challenger steps forward this race will be held Sunday on the Jr Nationals course with separate starts. Practice RaceThe practice race is your opportunity to get out on the lake before the racing starts, see how the race committee will setup the course, start the sequence, and run the race. Ask questions now. This will be held at 3pm in the afternoon after the Jr Nationals. Annual Meeting & DinnerThat evening at 6:30pm we'll host the C22 National Sailing Association Annual Meeting at Trawick Pavillion overlooking the lake. Meet and greet with your fellow competitors, see what's going on in with the association and other parts of the country. Fleet 85 from Arlington, TX will be hosting a cook-out. Dinner starts at 7:30pm. |
